Set up your video while your character is still building

Making your first character used to hold your video hostage: the last button sat greyed out with “Finishing your avatar…” until the build was done. Not anymore.

Create a character from the cast step, pick your story, tap Create this video — and go do something else. The card on your videos grid says Waiting for your character and tells you exactly what it’s waiting for. The moment the character’s look and voice are ready, the render starts on its own. No refresh, no second tap.

• Works for the second character too — the video waits for both.
• If a character can’t finish (its build fails, or its voice can’t be cast), the video stops with a plain reason and your Waffles come straight back. Fix the character, tap retry.
• Changed your mind? The × on the waiting card cancels it, Waffles refunded.

Shopify products arrive with their real names

Paste a Shopify product link and we now read the product straight from the store’s own listing: the proper title, the description, every photo in order. A theme’s big marketing headline no longer sneaks in as the product name, so the product your story revolves around is the product you actually sell.
