Start a video from any story, edit a finished video by chat, and get an email when it’s ready
The stories we write for your brand stopped being read-only. Reuse them, refine them, and let your inbox tell you when the video is done.
Start a new video from any story
Tap Use this brief on any story and the setup opens with that story as the briefing. No picking between three fresh directions — you already chose. Adjust the style, cast, length and language as usual, then say what to tweak in the Last-minute changes box (“set it in a café”, “mention the summer discount”) and we write the script from your story, adapted to that cast and length.
- Coming from scratch instead? The briefing step now has Or pick an existing story, which lists your stories right there.
- A story you reuse as-is counts its new video on the Stories page, so you can see which ones keep earning their place.
Edit a finished video by chat
Open a ready video, tap ⋯ → Edit video, and describe the change: fix a caption, redo one scene, change a line. You get a Waffle quote before anything renders, and a caption fix costs a fraction of a scene. Only what you changed is re-made; the rest of your video is kept exactly as it was.
- The edit lands on the same video — flip between versions with the toggle on the player, no extra card, no extra slot.
- The conversation stays on the video, with the render’s progress playing right inside it.
Your video is ready — in your inbox
“Email me when a render finishes” in My account now really does it. When a video lands you get a short email with its poster, title and length, and one button straight into that brand’s studio. Teammates you invited get it too.
Smaller things you’ll notice
- Every studio tab has its own address, so refresh, back and forward land you exactly where you were, and cold loads paint a skeleton of the page instantly.
- Character cards shimmer while a new style’s art loads instead of holding the old one.
- Video cards show how long ago each video was made, right under its details.
- On iPhones, the video sheet no longer hides its close button behind Safari’s address bar.
