Every new studio opens with Leo, Nadia and Grum already in your cast. All three come with every style and a locked voice, so you can pick one and start your first video right away. They’re yours to rename, edit by chat or delete like any other character.

Want someone who’s truly yours? Tap ＋ New avatar. The green Free badge means it’s on us: your first three custom characters cost nothing, even before you pick a plan. After that, a character is always 250 Waffles.

• No need to watch the progress bar. Close the sheet and keep setting up your video, and your character pops into the cast the moment it’s ready.
• Picking a language for your character is easier: search in your own language, and if the list can’t load, you can retry right there.

From sign-up to your first video, faster

• The welcome questions are down to three.
• When you tap your answer to the last question, it stays highlighted with a spinner while we get your studio ready, so it never looks like the tap was missed.
• After sign-up you land straight on the new-video page, and the welcome message now says Create my video.
