This Privacy Policy explains how VERSUS TECHNOLOGIES LLC (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use Waffle Studio (the “Service”).
1. Information we collect
- Account data — your email address and, if you sign up with email, a hashed password; or your basic profile if you sign in with Google.
- Brand inputs — the website URL you submit and the brand assets we extract from it (name, logo, colors, typography, copy, social links).
- Generated content — the briefs, avatar matches, and videos we produce for you.
- Billing data — subscription and payment status. Card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us.
- Usage & device data — logs, analytics events, and cookies used to operate and improve the Service.
2. How we use information
- To scan your URL, build your brand kit, generate briefs, match avatars, and render videos.
- To authenticate you, process payments, and manage your subscription and usage allowance.
- To provide support, secure the Service, and comply with legal obligations.
- To analyze and improve the Service. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Service providers
We share data with processors that help us run the Service — for example hosting and database infrastructure, our authentication provider, our payment processor, AI/render providers, email delivery for verification codes, and product analytics. They may process your data only on our instructions.
4. AI processing
Brand inputs and prompts are sent to AI and rendering providers to generate your output. We do not authorize those providers to use your business content to train their models except as needed to deliver results to you, subject to their terms.
5. Retention
We keep your account, brand kits, and videos for as long as your account is active, and for a limited period afterward as needed for legal, security, and backup purposes. You can delete individual videos in the dashboard or request account deletion.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise them, contact us using the details below.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
